Mia
the rabbit baby doll
Doll by Sylvie LECLERCQ
from... FRANCE

This little rabbit run in the garden looking for vegetables. She found a cabbage and couldn't resist having some pictures taken.
This doll is made using the Waldorf Wabbit pattern by Jennifer Williams. She's in velour and button jointed at arms and hips. She's stuffed with carded wool and her face is embroidered. I made the clothes using the pattern too.
I love waldorf doll, so making an waldorf animal doll was a lot of fun..

Snow
Doll by Kathy Copeland
from... Paragould, Arkansas

My beautiful rabbit that I made is from an old pattern that I found in my pattern box. My baby is called "Snow" and she is about 18" tall when standing. Snow's body was made from broadcloth and her outfit is a cute pink print pattern of cotton with lots and lots of lace. Snow has a beautiful personality when she smiles which is a lot. Snow looks lovely sitting in my sewing room watching everything that goes on.

Wave Chaser
Doll by Kat (Kaye) Hunt
from... Queensland Australia

Wave Chaser is made from calico, her face is painted using acrylic paints. Her hair is fluffed out knitting wool, she is lightly sculpted.
She is a very young mermaid, she has hair and a feathered tail that is green/blue so she is camouflaged from predators who may want to catch her. Her hair waves with the ocean currents to look like seaweed. She has a short tail which will grow as she does. She will be a beauty due to her already lovely eyes and long eyelashes.
Wave Chaser, she is made from a pattern I bought online called Tiffany (designers name unknown) and modified to form a mermaid.

"Enid"
Sweet Baby Teddy Bear
Doll by Tove Edens
from... Ontario, Canada
|
|

Enid, an adorable 18" baby teddy bear joined our family courtesy of her designer, Megan Wallace of 'Tin Soldiers Studio' in South Africa. Minimal alterations were made to the pattern to give it more pronounced baby features.
As you can see on the photos, Enid is a curious but lovable baby teddy who loves hugging her dolly, building towers with blocks and climbing trees while waving to the new neighbours.
Enid is a jointed teddy made of thick, white fun fur with pink fun fur inserted in the inside ears, the nose is shaved to a plush level. All 4 paws are ultrasuede with paw prints appliquéd on using an old air mattress remnants. Safety eyes and nose have been used to ensure safe play by young children.
Enid's 'dolly' is a 6" creation by Kezi Original and part of her "Dollmaker's Angle" pattern.
