Katie the Kit
(Baby Rabbit)

Doll by Teresa Petrino
from... Greenwich, Ct

This little, inquisitive bunny must have wandered too far from her home, and has lost her family. In the meantime, I have adopted this cute little baby, searching far and wide for her mom. How can anyone resist her charm?

The bunny measures approximately 8", laid out flat, from the tip of her toes, to the top of her head- not including the hat. She is my own creation that I still need to tweak- made from artificial fur lining from an old jacket, and polar fleece stretchy fabric, also from an old jacket. I have placed some beans in the bottom of her body, giving her some weight, and this allows her to be posed in a sitting position. I also have designed and created her bib, her play mat and her carrots. The little crocheted bunny buddy blanket is a design from www.thelittlepomegranate.wordpress.com that I crocheted with thread, to shrink in size.

Lill E. Pad
Doll by Melody Korlinchak
from... New Holland,PA

My Dolls Name is Lill E. Pad a pattern by Maureen Mills /Sweet Meadows Farms

After searching I thought she was the one...with her buddy ,the dragonfly attached to her face. They are both made from Muslin fabric, the frog is painted and both are tea stained..The added wings of stained stiffened cheesecloth really set it off...The flower is also muslin and painted the stem is wrapped in painted cheesecloth.I thought she was ''toadally'' awesome and wanted to have one of my own. I love make all kinds of crafts and when I start making a new pattern I just love seeing it come together. The most challenging part was filling in the webbing of her ''fingers and toes''.Overall she was fun to make and I hope you fall in love with her too!

Fancy Pants Li'l Britches
Doll by Mary Diaz
from... Rockford, Il

Hi, I'm Fancy Pants Li'l Britches but everyone calls me Fancy. I am 3 weeks old and live on a ranch with my mom and some other horses. While my mom and all the other moms stand around and talk, me and the rest of the foals play races and nibble on the grass. Every day the humans come to play with us and give us treats. We really have them trained. If they don't bring us mints and cookies we won't let them play with us. When all the treats are gone, we kick up our feet and race around the pasture and roll in the grass. Sometimes the small humans come into the pasture and run with us and try to catch us but we're too fast. Sometimes they roll in the grass with us. Mom says it's going to be a great summer and more babies like me will come soon so I will have lots of cousins to play with.

Fancy is 12" from ear tip to hoof and 7" from chest to tail.

The pattern is designed by me. It has wire armature and is made w/fake fur and alpaca for the mane and tail.

Piera
Doll by Rossella Doveri
from... Italy

I made little mouse Piera from Jennifer Carson's Polliwog pattern on september 2011 SDA, I love Jennifer's fairy dolls! I used craft velour and gave her sculpted features. Eyes are painted using watercolour pencils. She have jointed limbs. A friend made her little dress and shoes. I made Piera's dollie using some scraps and the cat rattle using a walnut. The rattle sounds really because I put inside some piece of wood. Looking at her while taking pics she seems to play with her toys :-D

Hope you like my little Piera!!!
